Ranch will raise "All Natural Beef" of superior quality which will be offered
to all guests as part
of the daily cuisine, as packaged beef to be bought for year round consumption,
by guests, or by customers
over the internet, and as high quality "natural beef" to be sold to local
vendors. In regard to "All Natural Beef" sales, a shift
toward increased
consumption of organic and or healthier foods has resulted from the Mad Cow
scare, e-coli, and increased
health concerns. The growth of "All Natural Beef" is just beginning according
to the beef grower's associations of the
western states. To produce "Natural Beef" requires a more hands on operation
then most of today's large feed yards can provide;
opening up an opportunity for smaller well run operations. Again, the affluent
families are capable of being more particular
about their food choices.We are going to run a herd of mother cows to raise
calves that will move through the system to be
fed out as a finished product. At this point we will work with a local processor
to process and package the
"All Natural Beef" thereby creating a lower cost of production, allowing
lower costs to consumer which will increase
market demand.
